Why We Built This Site
Finding the right Jones County record begins with court family and district. The Circuit Clerk keeps Circuit, County, and Youth Court dockets, while the Chancery Clerk keeps Chancery and land-related records. Both work across Ellisville first district and Laurel second district. Mississippi Electronic Courts provides separate Circuit/County and Chancery routes, but its public path is PAMEC registration rather than a free anonymous name-search page. Justice Court and municipal records remain separate. The goal is to make that routing clear before a reader contacts the wrong office.

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
